Welcome to the monthly newsletter for Avon Park Residential Home.
The month of May was full of excitement with the Coronation of King Charles III. Our residents had a wonderful couple of days starting with Royal Bingo and a Royal Quiz before watching the Coronation Ceremony and finished off with a lovely Roast Dinner!
We celebrated the birthday of our wonderful resident Margaret before holding a lovely Afternoon High Tea!
With the warm weather emerging, our amazing staff have been taking residents out on lovely walks in the local area to get some fresh air and enjoy the wonderful weather!
Avon Park Care Home is packed with activities this month, here are some key dates to remember:
5th June – Sausage Roll Day
5th June – World Environment Day
17th June – King Charles III Birthday
18th June – Father's Day
21st June – National Writing Day
On Friday 16th June at 2:30pm, we will welcome back the spectacular Doorstep Entertainment to Avon Park, who will be performing their amazing show filled with a variety of song, dance and comedy.
On 20th June we welcome the Shephard Singers to Avon Park, who will be performing various medleys for our residents!
To celebrate Father’s Day on 18th June residents will name a male individual (famous or non famous) who has inspired them Residents will then explain why they have chosen that individual and highlight any interesting facts!
On 6th June, our residents will be showcasing their creativity arranging flowers that will be on display throughout the home!
Our movie nights continue throughout June allowing our residents to sit back, relax and watch a movie of
their choosing!
On 17th June the United Kingdom will celebrate the birthday of King Charles III and here at Avon Park our residents will take part in a Quiz to see who knows the most about our King!
Our amazing monthly Afternoon High Tea full of finger foods and beverages will take place on 1st June in the dining area!
