Welcome to the monthly newsletter for Avon Park Residential Home.
September was another jam-packed schedule full of exciting activities such as Musical Bingo, Courtyard chats, Afternoon Singalongs, Pamper sessions, Flower Arranging, Play Your Cards Right alongside our regular Bingo and exercise sessions.
We celebrated the 86th birthday of our wonderful resident David, who was treated to a birthday singalong from his fellow peers and staff, alongside a delicious homemade cake from our amazing Chef.
Residents have really enjoyed the new activities schedule that the amazing Lorraine has implemented.

Halloween High Tea
On 10th October residents will relax in the Webber Lounge watching a movie of their choosing alongside some spooky yet tasty treats!
We will be holding a spooky Halloween High Tea on 31st October, starting at 4:30pm in the Main Lounge. Residents will enjoy a fun filled high tea with delicious cakes, finger foods and beverages!
On 2nd October residents will celebrate International Music Day with our recently new addition to the activities schedule – Musical Bingo!
On 17th October residents will showcase their creativity making Halloween themed decorations to be put on display!
On 24th October residents will take part in a spooky and exciting Halloween Themed Quiz to test their knowledge, with plenty of prizes to be won!
Our monthly Afternoon High Tea continues on 5 th October allowing residents to socialise and relax over a selection of scrumptious cakes and finger foods!
