Welcome to the monthly newsletter for Avon Park Residential Home.
The month of December saw Avon Park residents engage in many festive activities from Card Making to Wreath Making to Gingerbread Baking (Click here to find out more).
Staff put on a wonderful Carol Service for residents with everybody getting involved in many festive songs and mulled wine! Christmas day was such a wonderful occasion with residents opening presents together in the main lounge before getting spoilt with a delicious Christmas dinner!
Avon Park Care Home is packed with activities this month, here are some key dates to remember:
12th January – Afternoon Tea Special
17th January – Board Games
19th January – Flower Arranging
24th January – Puzzles in Pairs
26th January – Arts & Crafts

Movie Night
On 12th January residents will kickstart the new year in style with a scrumptious Afternoon High Tea with joyful background music.
On 31st January residents can sit back and relax as movie night returns! Residents will have choice of delicious treats and drinks whilst watching a movie of their choosing.
On 19th January residents of Avon Park will join in to create some wonderful flower creations to celebrate
International Flower Day. All flower arrangements will then be displayed in the courtyard.
To help keep residents’ brains active and to celebrate International Puzzle Day on 29th January residents will have a range of different puzzle games set up to enjoy.
