July saw us celebrate the 70th Wedding Anniversary for our residents John & Beryl! It was lovely to see all staff and residents come together to show their congratulations!
Numerous shopping trips took place last month, which saw a number of residents venture out to the local shops in Hedge End!
Residents were treated to a visit from Magic Scott, who performed some hilarious and engaging magic tricks that left staff and residents in hysterics!
Avon Park Care Home is packed with activities this month, here are some key dates to remember:
3rd August – Afternoon High Tea
8th August – Arts & Crafts
15th August – Flower Arranging
17th August – Quiz
21th August – Capturing Life at Avon Park
22nd August – Hannah Spires Saxophonist
24th August – Board Games
On 15th August, our residents will be showcasing their creativity arranging flowers that will be on display throughout the home!
To celebrate World Photography Day on 21st August, we will be capturing some wonderful images and videos of all that goes on here at Avon Park!
On 8th August residents will put their craft skills to the test creating quirky and eye catching cats to celebrate International Cat Day!
On 17th August residents will take part in our monthly quiz in the Main Lounge!
On 24th August resident will have a variety of different board games to choose from to play with other residents!
Our amazing monthly Afternoon High Tea full of finger foods and beverages will take place on 3 rd August in the dining area!
