Even though the current time isn’t easy to anyone, we’ve tried to keep our residents busy with the activities. We’re very proud of our residents. From the moment the lockdown restrictions were in place, they were adapting to the restrictions very well. We’ve had to ask our hairdresser to stop her visits until further notice. Everyone accepted this much better then we could have hoped.
Some of the residents wanted to send the messages to their loved ones to let them know they’re fine and that they’re missing them very much!
As this year’s Easter was different from the previous years, we’ve still had a lovely time with putting all the crafts, dressed our residents up and had an amazing lunch together!
We’ve also tried to forget what is going on in the outside world and just had nothing but fun! Lots of singing and dancing, and to be honest, the staff that has been involved, were shattered as we couldn’t keep up with our awesome residents!
To keep minds sharp and active, what our residents love doing, we included lots of games and quizzes in our activity timetable!
We’ve celebrated our lovely resident Joan’s birthday. With some presents of course!
Even though families aren’t currently visiting us, we still want to look gorgeous and feel refreshed. So we’ve spoiled our lovely ladies with some pampering.
We believe that sun and lovely weather can make everything better! So our residents spent some time outside and enjoyed the sunshine while having a natter and a cuppa. It so amazing that we have a lovely garden and we don’t need to stay indoors all the time!
We want to Thank for all the residents’ families for all your continued support during this difficult time. We’re trying our best to keep your loved ones happy here at our care home.❤️
